Here’s how I see it….
You know when someone says, I’d bet you’d never say that to their face?
That’s exactly what Trump and Boris (and all the other governments/politicians/media/banks) are doing.
They’re tearing apart any semblance of freedom and democracy and saying it to our face.
They’re seeing what they can get away with.
And we are letting them because we are too caught up in our own ideas and ideals of rights and wrongs and politically correct bullshit, to see that standing on our soap boxes and preaching about our alleged rights and how fucking “offended” we are is exactly the division they want and need.
Straight, gay, black, white, trans, man, woman, fat, disabled, bi, Muslim, gender neutral, Christian….retard. (Yes, ‘retard’ is a word and its definition was never meant to be offensive, but later became a joke and then an insult. So you have choices, you can either be offended or stop being a retard.)
I don’t care who you are or what you believe in or what you do in your personal life… sexually, religiously or in any other way….
But to stand there and fight for your personal little reality when the world is physically, spiritually and yes literally burning around us.
Shame on us all.
I am an advocate of equality, but I don’t think that we are all equal.
We have all had different experiences, skills and abilities. We have different flaws and proclivities.
And yes we do have differences in gender, colour and creed and in everything that can make anything different about anyone…
It’s those differences that have helped us get to where we are today as a species and as people in our lifetime and that history, well, it hasn’t always been pretty. (Now there’s a contextual euphemism that could be considered offensive).
Yet we know that it is those differences that bring us together because accepting and nurturing and embracing those differences is what makes us the same and that is equality.
Who here wants to give that away?
Because we absolutely are giving it away, every single day…..
