Demons and Angels

People believe that a Demon is an Angel, fallen from grace.
Exiled from Heaven, cast down to the fiery pits of hell.
Dante’s “Inferno” is their given image of that place.
Only four hundred years old, imagination to ink well.

A Guardian Angel was once called a Holy Daimon.
One was a messenger and the other a guiding spirit.
But the lies and deceit, a corrupt, rage-filled sermon.
Every man, woman, and child has to live and breathe it.

And the manipulation of a controlling ideology.
Man-made, not a God-given theology.
Leads us away from our true philosophy.
Gnosis, wisdom, enlightenment… and etymology.
