Born in South Wales to a family from England, I moved around a lot as a child and quickly learnt how to interact with strangers and new people. I attended 4 separate secondary schools, changing  schools a total of 5 times.

While this is not the ideal upbringing, it did come with a sliver lining, other than the above mentioned necessity of having to find my place in the social hierarchy of several secondary schools, it also gave me a hunger to travel and to explore the world and my place in it.

I’m now in my late 40s and have visited around 40 countries, many of which I have not just been a tourist in, just staying in a hotel and sightseeing, I have lived in several and I have actively immersed myself in the culture and community of many more.

I currently live in Czechia and teach English as a second language.

I’m a former professional musician, I’ve been writing songs, poetry, and lyrics since around the age of 13.
I have studied a few martial arts, but my heart, soul and the majority of my martial arts journey has been with Wing Chun kung fu.

This site is to share some of my creative work, my life experience, and my opinions.
I hope that you enjoy at least some of it, and maybe even find some value in it.
